The fellowships will begin in the academic year of 2021-2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Project:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Biocatalysis is the Key Enabling Technology for developing sustainable processes in the chemical industry \u2013 remember the Nobel Prize 2018 awarded\u00a0 for the laboratory evolution of protein catalysts! Are you interested in pursuing a career in biocatalysis research? Are you keen to join an international consortium that comprises some of the leading academic and industrial organisations in this field in Europe?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please see a list of the 15 ESR positions available <a href=\"https:\/\/euraxess.ec.europa.eu\/jobs\/616063\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on this link<\/a>. <strong>Catalonia Institute for Advanced Chemistry<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong>(IQAC-CSIC)<\/strong> offers a project entitled <a href=\"https:\/\/cc-top-itn.eu\/portfolio-items\/esr15\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>&#8216;Construction of artificial enzyme catalysts for C-C bond forming reactions&#8217;<\/strong><\/a> supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iqac.csic.es\/research\/departments\/biological-chemistry\/biotransformationa-and-bioactive-molecules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Dr. Pere Clap\u00e9s<\/strong><\/a>. The researcher that embarks in this project will design and produce these\u00a0<strong>artificial enzymes\u00a0<\/strong>and will\u00a0<strong>screen for different relevant C-C bond forming reactions<\/strong>.
