Undergraduate, Master&#8217;s, PhD student and early-career postdoctoral researchers presented their research through 8 oral presentations and 13 posters.<\/p>\n<p>The event, sponsored by MedChem Express, Real Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Qu\u00edmica, Societat Catalana de Qu\u00edmica, EcoGen, Werfen and Cymit, included in its program different activities, such as the round table &#8220;<span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Beyond the PhD: Exploring Diverse Career Trajectories&#8221;, with the participation of <span id=\"page1R_mcid20\" class=\"markedContent\"><strong>Javier Adri\u00e1n <\/strong>(European Affairs Manager at ACCI\u00d3), <\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid21\" class=\"markedContent\"><strong>Carles Galdeano<\/strong> (Co-founder of Oniria Therapeutics), <\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid22\" class=\"markedContent\"><strong>Merc\u00e8 Ratera<\/strong> (Excellence and Internationalization Office at IQAC-CSIC),\u00a0 and <\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid23\" class=\"markedContent\"><strong>Fernando Cid<\/strong>, (IT Analyst at EBMT). This activity was aimed at PhD students to explore potential career opportunities outside of academia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Later, <strong>Marta Pulido<\/strong> offered a workshop on how to <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">prepare <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">efficient poster presentations and <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">deliver oral communications. Moreover, the Excellence and Internationalization Office <\/span> conducted a poll to assess the level of engagement within the IQAC community at the center.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the event, the awards for the best oral communication and best poster were given.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best oral communication: <strong><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Guillem Sanz-Liarte <\/span><\/strong> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(BISi-Bonds)for his presentation<\/span>\u00a0<em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">B-<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">N axis as a facilitating <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">agent for the synthesis of 3D structures: The paradigmatic case of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the [4,4] propellane<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Best poster: <strong><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Pere <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00c1lvarez <\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(Medicinal <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Chemistry <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&amp; <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Synthesis) for his poster <\/span><em><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Light<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">regulated <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">molecules to improve the pharmacology of cancer drugs<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Young Researchers&#8217; Day 2024 conference was celebrated on 12th June with a mass participation of 80 people, including presenters, attendees, organizers, and guests.
