Group Leader: Gemma Triola
Our general objective is the development of chemical approaches for protein detection, synthesis, modification, modulation and degradation, to get a better understanding of relevant biological processes that will help elucidate the factors regulating diseases and to identify molecules for drug discovery and agro-forestry protection. Our research interests are focused on proteins of importance in human and agro-forestry health, such as those involved in sphingolipid metabolic and cell signalling pathways, lipid-lipid and protein-lipid interactions, and insect chemical communication.
