TENSIOACTIUS I LÍQUIDS IÒNICS BIOCOMPATIBLES

Actualment, la industria química s’enfronta amb un dels reptes més importants de la seva història. Les actuals directrius mundials pel que fa a la qualitat de vida, exigeixen l’ús de processos integrats de producció sostenible que, per generar productes d’alt valor afegit, utilitzin de manera racional les matèries primeres naturals renovables. La principal reacció a això és una intensa investigació sobre com es poden utilitzar els recursos renovables en la síntesi de nous compostos biocompatibles.
Atès que se sap que els compostos actius superficialment poden afectar negativament el medi aquàtic, hi ha una clara tendència a emprar matèries primeres renovables no tòxiques com a matèries primeres per a la síntesi de compostos biocompatibles no contaminants. En aquest context, el nostre grup du a terme una investigació exhaustiva de nous tensioactius i líquids iònics derivats de fonts naturals renovables, com ara aminoàcids i olis naturals. El nostre objectiu és desenvolupar tensioactius i líquids iònics biocompatibles i biodegradables. Els tensioactius i els líquids iònics amb aquestes propietats cobririen, en part, les necessitats d’una sèrie d’indústries tals com l’industria de l’alimentació, la cosmètica i la farmacèutica.

- Síntesi de nous tensioactius i líquids iònics biocompatibles derivats d’aminoàcids.
- Estudi de la seva adsorció en interfícies i de les seves propietats d’agregació.
- Estudi de les interaccions amb membranes biològiques.
- Estudi de la seva activitat antimicrobiana, toxicitat i biodegradació.
