Nanobiotechnology for Diagnosis

The Nanobiotechnology for Diagnosis (Nb4D) group has focused on developing new molecular diagnostic tools to offer alternatives to current limitations in various fields, especially in the clinical and food safety areas. To this end, they investigate the preparation of new nanomaterials and micro(nano)devices as signal transducers for biomolecular recognition events, as well as the production of specific bioreceptors with tailor-made designed characteristics. In addition, the group has a complementary research line on studying the potential therapeutic effect of antibodies for different clinical conditions, particularly bacterial infectious diseases.
