Guillem Sanz obtained his degree in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona, where he continued his studies with a Master’s in Organic Chemistry. He is currently conducting his doctoral research at the BISi Bonds Laboratory of IQAC-CSIC under the supervision of Dr. Alexandr Shafir and Dr. Ana B. Cuenca (IQS-URL). His work focuses on boron-nitrogen (BN) isosterism, developing new synthetic methods to access BN-isosteres of both two-dimensional (sp²–sp²) and three-dimensional (sp³–sp³) organic structures.
