Elisa joined the IQAC-CSIC in May 2024 as Internationalization Manager through the CSIC’s Redinter program, with the aim of securing international funding and promoting the center’s international profile.

She holds a degree in Biotechnology from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), a Master’s degree in Nanotechnology from the École Centrale de Lyon, and a PhD in the development of microfluidic systems for the microscopic characterization of magnetotactic bacteria from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces and the Universität Potsdam, where she also taught Microbiology.

Furthermore, she has participated in the development of online language courses, an activity she particularly enjoys, and is currently implementing a strategy to transform her office into a botanical garden.
