In 2007, I began my academic career at IQAC-CSIC, completing my final degree project in Chemical Engineering at the University of Barcelona (UB), which focused on surfactant-based porous materials.

In 2010, I completed an experimental master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, focused on poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogels applied to polyamide fabrics, and later pursued a master’s degree in Advanced Chemistry, researching highly concentrated emulsions as a means to obtain porous chitosan materials.

In 2011, I joined the Materials Science and Technology doctoral program at UB, defending my thesis in 2015 on macroporous chitosan foams, for which I received a Cum Laude distinction.

I currently work in the Colloidal Dispersion Service at IQAC-CSIC, having contributed to various research areas such as sustainable textile printing of dyes, the synthesis of porous materials, and the characterization of pharmaceutical emulsions.

In the teaching field, I have participated in the Encapsulation Techniques course at the Menéndez Pelayo International University (2016, 2018, 2019), and since 2014, in the Master’s in Cosmetics and Dermopharmacy at CESIF. Since 2016, I have also participated in the “Surfactants and their Applications” course organized by the Spanish Detergent Committee (CED).
