Jorge Martín obtained his degree in Chemistry from the University of Valladolid, where he also completed a master’s degree in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry. He is currently a doctoral student at the BISi Bonds Laboratory at IQAC-CSIC, working under the supervision of Dr. Alexandr Shafir and Dr. Ana B. Cuenca (IQS-URL). His research focuses on the reactivity and structure of hypervalent iodine reagents, with particular interest in C–H coupling processes directed by iodanes.
