I am a biostatistician with a degree in Statistics (1995) and a Master’s in Statistics (2001), currently based at the IQAC-CSIC. Between 1996 and 2009, my research focused on Epidemiology, Public Health, and Clinical Trials, contributing to projects in pharmacovigilance, tuberculosis epidemiology, neuroepidemiology, epidemiological surveillance, and HIV/AIDS epidemiology.
Since 2010, my work has been oriented towards the development and application of statistical methods in Biomedical Chemistry, in collaboration with various national and international research initiatives. I have published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Science Citation Index.
My research interests include applied statistical methodology, with a special emphasis on linear and non-linear regression modeling and experimental design techniques. I also have extensive teaching experience in statistical methods at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
