The Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis group joins the Xartec Salut network

The IQAC-CSIC research group Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis has joined the Xartec Salut network, bringing cutting-edge expertise in chemical research, advancing knowledge and therapeutic technologies.

This incorporation will allow the research group, whose work is focused on optimizing existing drug molecules and pioneering new therapeutic approaches, fostering impactful solutions in health sciences, such as photopharmacology, to foster knowledge transfer to different institutions and companies.

Xartec Salut, led by the Research Center for Biomedical Engineering (CREB-UPC), is formed by 117 belonging to 29 different institutions (Universities, hospitals and research centers), aiming to be a catalyst for the R+D+I in the field of HealthTech, and the Medicinal Chemistry and Synthesis group is the only one from CSIC.
