The 4th Edition of the Young Researchers’ Day was successfully held

The Young Researchers’ Day 2024 conference was celebrated on 12th June with a mass participation of 80 people, including presenters, attendees, organizers, and guests. Undergraduate, Master’s, PhD student and early-career postdoctoral researchers presented their research through 8 oral presentations and 13 posters.

The event, sponsored by MedChem Express, Real Sociedad Española de Química, Societat Catalana de Química, EcoGen, Werfen and Cymit, included in its program different activities, such as the round table “Beyond the PhD: Exploring Diverse Career Trajectories”, with the participation of Javier Adrián (European Affairs Manager at ACCIÓ), Carles Galdeano (Co-founder of Oniria Therapeutics), Mercè Ratera (Excellence and Internationalization Office at IQAC-CSIC),  and Fernando Cid, (IT Analyst at EBMT). This activity was aimed at PhD students to explore potential career opportunities outside of academia.
