I graduated in Chemical Engineering from IQS – Universitat Ramon Llull, where I completed my Final Degree Project at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), focused on the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles with chelators for imaging and theranostic applications. This experience sparked my interest in research and led me to pursue a master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology.
During this stage, I worked in the Cancer and Aging Mechanisms group at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, gaining experience in cancer biology. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in the Drug Discovery & Medicinal Chemistry group at IQAC-CSIC. My project integrates chemistry and biology to develop innovative drug delivery systems that selectively target cancer stem cells through ALDH enzymatic activity.
