I am a researcher specializing in biomedicine and lipid metabolism, with experience in sphingolipid biology and lipid analysis using high-resolution mass spectrometry. I hold a PhD in Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona (2017).

My research focuses on understanding the role of sphingolipids in cellular processes and the development of new therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with lipid metabolism, such as cancer and lysosomal storage disorders.

I am currently the head of the Lipidomics Service at IQAC-CSIC, where I coordinate lipid analysis using advanced techniques and provide scientific support for research projects from academic researchers and biotechnology companies.
