The service for Characterization of Colloidal Dispersions (cCD) of the Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC) and CIBER-BBN has recently obtained the ISO 9001-2015 certification for the scope of Technological service for characterization of colloidal dispersions. An IQNet recognized certificate has been issued by AENOR last week.
This certification will expand and consolidate the service led by Dr. Carlos Rodríguez Abreu and Dr. Jordi Esquena, from the Colloidal and Interfacial Chemistry group and Surface Chemistry group, respectively. The cCD service focuses on the characterization of structured liquids (micelles, vesicles or liposomes, liquid crystals, microemulsions, nanoemulsions, etc.) and solid dispersions (organic, inorganic or hybrid). The cCD offers technical assistance to research groups and industry especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food science areas.
The ISO 9001 Standard is the most widespread Quality Management tool worldwide, with over one million certificates in 175 countries. The main objective of the standard is to increase customer satisfaction through continuous improvement processes.
